MJ Health is currently seeking an experienced Permanent NIGHT Veterinary Surgeon for our well-established client near Morley, West Yorkshire, for a role with a 7 on 14 off schedule!

Overview:
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Animal type: Small Animal
Shifts: 7 nights on, 14 nights off | 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Full time/Part time: Part-Time (OOH rota pattern)
Out of hours: Yes (Night Shifts Only)
Weekends: Included in the 7-night OOH pattern
Sole charge: Yes, with OOH RVN and VCA support
Team Size: 70 colleagues including 15 vets; supportive night team with OOH RVN & VCA
Equipment/facilities available:

• Procyte, Catalyst Dx, EPOC, APTT/PT

• In-house diagnostics: FeLV/FIV/Parvo/Lepto/Giardia

• Digital X-ray, advanced Doppler ultrasound

• Flexible & rigid endoscopy, bronchoscopy, video otoscope

• Dental X-ray (CR7), ECG, multiparameter monitors

• Gen11 vessel sealing, Valleylab monopolar/bipolar, Ligaclips

• E20 sterilisation unit

• Visiting CT scanner access

• £1,500 CPD allowance

• Certificate support encouraged

• Extensive in-house CPD/clinical development programme

• Surgical, medicine & dentistry certificate holders on-site

• Twilight RVN support until midnight, reception till 10pm

• Vets encouraged to locum during 14 nights off for additional income

• Advanced ECC case exposure including:

  • TFAST/AFAST, caesareans, laparotomies, Addisonian crisis, pancreatitis, DKA

  • Endoscopy, negative pressure wound therapy, peritoneal/chest drains
