MJ Health is currently seeking a Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse for our well-established independent client based in Pontypridd.

Job Role:

Veterinary Nurse

Role Duties Include:

• Assisting the vet team
• Admits and discharges
• Monitoring anesthetics
• Assisting with dental procedures
• I/V catheter placement
• I/V fluids administration
• Observing patients
• Administering medications
• Running and packaging lab samples
• Cleaning patients

Shifts/Rota:

Available on request – Full Time or Part Time considered

Weekends:

No weekend working

Out of Hours:

No out-of-hours work

Nurse Consults:

Yes

Software Used:

Practice management software (details available upon request)

Team Size:

• Vets: 4
• Nurses: 3
• Receptionists: 2

Facilities:

• Digital X-ray
• Ultrasonography
• In-house laboratory facilities

Salary Offered:

Depending on experience
