Permanent Veterinary Nurse – Shropshire – 18486

MJ Health is currently seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse for a permanent role, at a well-established independent client in Shropshire.

• Job Role: Permanent RVN
• Date Required: ASAP
• Animal Type: Small Animal
• Role Duties: Nurses are an integral part of the practice, taking the lead in organising the theatre list, running busy nurse clinics, and intensive nursing of hospital patients including booking of all procedures and ops liaising closely with both vets and owners during our patients stay The nurses perform all post operative checks, 2nd vaccinations as well as the usual clip claws, weight checks etc and supporting our reception team when needed.
• Shifts/Rota: Full time
• Weekends: Saturday morning rota of 1:4
• OOH: No out of hours or on call requirements
• Development: CPD is encouraged and funded
• Practice: Independently owned, small animal practice with facilities including digital x-ray, ultrasound, and laser
• Team: Team of 3 vets, 3 RVNs, 1 ACA and 4 reception staff
• Candidate Requirements: All levels of experience can be considered due to experience already within the team
• Salary Offered: Up to £30k per annum, DOE
• Benefits: No on call, RCVS fees paid, workplace pension, employee discount
