Role Duties:
MJ Health are seeking a dedicated Head Veterinarian to join our independent client’s team. The successful candidate will lead the veterinary team, providing medical and surgical care to animals, including diagnosing and treating various health issues, administering vaccinations, and performing surgeries. They will also advise clients on preventative care, diet, and general health practices to ensure the well-being of their pets. Strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and a compassionate approach to animal care are essential. The Head Vet will be pivotal in driving the continuous improvement of clinical standards and services, mentoring and upskilling colleagues to support the aim of being a center of clinical excellence.

Shifts/Rota:
4 days a week
Weekends:
1:4 weekends.
Out of Hours:
No OOH duties required, but on-call responsibilities for any overnight inpatients.

Ops Rota:
Dedicated Ops day, allowing each vet to gain experience in their chosen development area.

- 2 Veterinary Surgeons
- 4 RVNs
- 1 Graduate joining in September
