MJ Health is currently seeking a Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse for our well-established independent client based in Staines, Surrey.

About the Practice: Our client’s Staines branch is the central hub for their 8-branch practice. They boast state-of-the-art facilities, including an endoscopy suite, CT scanner, dental x-rays, orthopedic suite, and dedicated dog and cat wards.

What They’re Looking For: Our client is seeking a highly motivated individual eager to enhance their skills in a diverse workload. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the team, performing tasks such as anesthetics, inpatient care, lab work, nurse consultations, and more.

Overview:

• Salary: Competitive salary based on experience.
• Animal type: Small Animal.
• Shift times: 8-hour shifts covering various roles between 7:30 AM and 10:00 PM.
• Out of hours: No out-of-hours (OOH) coverage required due to VetsNow emergency clinic on-site.
• Weekends: 1 in 8 Saturdays with a day off in lieu.
• Software used: RX Works.
• Team size: 10 at the Staines branch, with a dynamic team across 8 branches.

Position Details:

• Full-time position: 40-hour week.
• Primarily based at the Staines branch, with occasional work in other branches.
• Training Opportunity: The practice is passionate about training the next generation of veterinary nurses and will require the candidate to complete clinical coach training.
