Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse – Bartlow – Cambridgeshire – MJH271

MJ Health is currently seeking a Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse for our well-established independent client based in Bartlow, Cambridgeshire.

Role Duties Include:

• Assisting the vet team
• Admits
• Discharges
• Monitoring anesthetics
• Assisting with dental procedures
• I/V catheter placement
• I/V fluids
• Observing patients
• Administering medications
• Running lab samples
• Packaging of samples
• Cleaning patients

Shifts/Rota: Full time

• Shift Times:
  • Start: 08:30 AM or 12:00 PM
  • Finish: 5:00 PM or 8:30 PM

Weekends: 1 in 3 weekends (Saturday morning surgery, on call rest of the weekend, caring for inpatients)
Out of Hours: Yes (rare call-outs)
Nurse consults: No
Facilities: Digital X-ray, ultrasonography, in-house laboratory facilities
Salary Offered: Starting at £31,000 per annum DOE
Benefits: RCVS & BVNA Membership paid
